MERRITT MIDWEST, INC. a consulting engineering and surveying firm, was formed by a merger between Merritt Engineering, Inc. and Midwest Civil Engineers, Inc.

Prior to 2017 Merritt Engineering, Inc. and Midwest Civil Engineers, Inc. were independent companies providing consulting services to a wide variety of clients. The combined firm will provide our existing and future clients with greater depth of personnel, expanded variety of experience, and continued dedication to quality work and client satisfaction.

Through our prior firms, we have been active in servicing both the public and private sectors in Michigan for more than 35 years. Our design and construction administration experience includes: drinking water and sanitary sewer systems; water and wastewater treatment systems including community septic systems; highways and roads; storm water drainage and runoff management; dam safety; commercial-industrial-residential development; federal, state and local permitting; and environmental assessments and investigations. Our surveying experience includes boundary surveys, topographic surveys, subdivision plats, site condominiums, and ALTA/ASCM surveys.

At Merritt Midwest, Inc. we build and maintain relationships with our Clients. We pride ourselves on providing quality engineering and surveying services no matter the size of the project. Our goal is to provide practical, cost-effective engineering and surveying solutions and measurable results for our Clients.

Our staff of professionals includes: civil engineers, surveyors, field technicians, CAD designers and support personnel. We are licensed to practice Engineering and Surveying in Michigan. The firm’s project engineers have over 20 years of individual experience as professionals, and our survey staff is similarly experienced. This staff is supported by personnel and equipment resources that include: laser and satellite based electronic and manual surveying equipment, a variety of testing and monitoring equipment, and computer modeling and engineering design software.
